we headed to the alabama coast last friday to spend the last weekend of mardi gras celebrating with friends and family. mardi gras in mobile is a little different than new orleans but no less fun. joe cain is our favorite day for carnival and we were lucky to once again be right in the middle of the action arriving on friday evening just in time for the crewe of columbus and we left on monday before fat tuesday but grateful for the great time we had full of all our favorite mardi gras traditions.
