I am April.  A wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and gardener living in Georgia.  I started making jewelry as a way to explore my creativity working with my hands.  It soon became a passion that resulted in a connection to handmade both as a seller and a buyer.  In the handmade community, I have observed and learned how sharing passions through the products we each make creates a strong sense of pride, a love of craft, a deeper appreciation and a more meaningful experience.  I now seek handmade items and love knowing that I am supporting a community where there is a relationship between product and producer.  I also have an intense love of plants and flowers and spend most of my free time playing in nature’s bounty.  This blog is a place where I collect small moments, hours, days or weekends that blend together and create a story, mine.

“A person who works with his hands is a labourer, a person who works with his hands and his mind is a craftsman. But a person who works with his hands, mind and his heart is an artist.”  ~ Louis Nize
