these pictures are from our trip to the big easy on labor day weekend for sarah’s birthday. we had three fun-filled days full of our favorite places as well as added a few new ones. we explored the shops along magazine street before checking into our hotel in the warehouse district and had fun wandering into the french quarter via the arts district. my mom met us on sunday for a trip to the aquarium and a long stroll along the riverwalk. i love watching the girls take in the culture and flavor of the city and the best part is each trip is unique.
leigh is ten.
full of energy, always talking, always dancing and quickly becoming a preteen. she loves color, sparkles, jewelry, makeup and hair accessories. full of adventure except when it comes to food, she does not like vegetables. she absorbs everything around her and always has a plan to craft something, go somewhere or try something new and a trip to the mall is her favorite.
sarah is thirteen.
a teenager. quiet, laid back, always has her phone and is becoming a joker. she is slowly venturing out into the world with friends and without us. she loves road trips, movies, music and is becoming an awesome clarinet player. adventurous and will always try new things once including foods. always a carnivore. loves to browse you tube for new music and the internet for facts on her favorite tv shows and movies.
we try to always plan to go fishing and crabbing on our visits to the coast. nothing compares to saltwater and our visits to moms house when my sister is also visiting makes it extra special.
a stroll around daphne’s bayfront park is a favorite nature walk on the coast.
